Flexo Concepts’ distribution partner, Stafford Corrugated Products, will promote the TruPoint Green doctor blade at Tappi’s CorrExpo event this fall in Providence, Rhode Island. Green is a drop-in replacement blade for printers who want to produce mid-level graphics without having to run steel.
As graphics requirements continue to grow, corrugated printers are looking for a doctor blade that will meter anilox line screens between where UHMW is effective and where steel is required. TruPoint Green offers printers an easy alternative in these applications. The custom-compounded material demonstrates better stiffness and only half the mechanical creep of UHMW in addition to better wear rates and safety than steel. As a replacement for UHMW, Green can be installed with no shims or other clamp modifications.
