1. Is it safe enough to clean the most delicate anilox rolls including rolls with chrome surfaces and thin cell walls.
It is so safe that the media stream can dwell in one spot on a roll for 5 minutes without the slightest alteration to the surface or cell structure. In addition, the MicroClean™ plastic media will not erode the metal of the cleaning cabinet or etch the viewing glass of the machine.

2. Can the MicroClean™ System be used with any material other than plastic media?
No, the MicroClean™ system is designed specifically to handle MicroClean™ plastic media and recycle/reuse it efficiently. No other cleaning material has MicroClean™ s unique cleaning and durability properties.

3. How often will I have to change the cleaning material?
The cleaning material is automatically changed by the reclamation system. The plastic cleaning media is cycled through the system up to 80 times. Each pass through the system the particles become finer and, when a plastic particle is too fine to be reused, it is automatically removed and placed in the waste bin.

4. What do I do with the waste created by the MicroClean™ system?
The waste generated by the MicroClean™ systems amounts to approximately 1 pound of plastic dust per hour of use. The plastic dust is inert and clean and, in virtually every case, can be disposed of in the landfill.

5. How many different roll sizes can the MicroClean™ SmartDrive computer accommodate?
The MicroClean™ SmartDrive computer can store up to 10 separate roll sizes. Our engineering staff can enter additional roll sizes if necessary during installation.

6. Can I clean my chrome laminator and rotogravure cylinders in the same system as our ceramic anilox rolls?
Yes. Without exception, chrome and rotogravure rolls can be cleaned by the same MicroClean™ System with our UltraMedia. We currently have many customers using their system to clean both chrome and ceramic roll surfaces.

7. How long will the MicroClean™ cleaning head last?
MicroClean™ plastic media is non-abrasive and will not wear on the metal items within the MicroClean™ system. We have not seen any appreciable wear on a cleaning head even after 10 years of constant use.

10. How long should I leave the Recyl Clean 2000 on my anilox rolls before rinsing?
Depending on how clogged the cells are, the solution should be effective and ready to be rinsed in 15-20 minutes or less.
