Key Account Manager
Location: Plymouth, MA
About the Job
Due to rapid growth we are seeking a Key Account Manager with a general business background to help increase sales with our existing key accounts. This position will primarily focus on cross-selling existing products, client retention, new account development and managing day-to-day support. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preference will be made to those with experience in sales.
Job Description
The Key Account Manager will manage existing Flexo Concepts key accounts and develop new key accounts balancing sales support with a primary focus on growing revenue through relationship building, product awareness and training. The Key Account Manager is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to our Key Accounts as well as offering them alternative and unique solutions to help drive revenue.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for increasing revenue with assigned key accounts
- Responsible for cross-selling to all new, recently acquired and existing key accounts with additional products and services
- Responsible for customer retention and communicating/tracking reasons for lost business to management
- Responsible for executing "automated reminder" approach for continued selling and training
- Provide feedback to management on cross-selling activities and product success,
- Provide day-to-day support for key accounts
- Answer inquiries via e-mail and telephone
- Process Quotes
- Work with internal teams to assist with support and billing inquiries
- Assist with the development of new key accounts
- Manage on-going training or education through multiple communication vehicles
- Serve as internal key account advocate to ensure customer satisfaction
- Distribute key account reports and gather feedback
- Manage key account sample requests
- Follow-up on new product development projects
Requirements
- Proven success prospecting and moving opportunities through a sales cycle
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively, both written and verbal
- Ability to use and learn new computer systems and applications
- Ability to learn new products, equipment and their associated applications and processes
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Exposure to general business processes; sales, marketing, customer service
- Ability to take responsibility for problems / opportunities and implement permanent solutions
- Ability to handle complex interlinked activities and balance priorities
Candidate will preferably have some existing sales experience. Candidate will be trained in the use of ACT, Peachtree and GoToMeeting (proficiency in these programs within a 60 day period is a minimum requirement).

Inside Sales Professional
Job Description
Due to rapid growth we are seeking a seasoned professional with a general business background to support and service our new and existing customers and provide inside sales support. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preference will be made to those with experience in sales and customer service, or any other general business discipline.
Responsibilities will include:
- Increase revenue through new customer acquisition and cross-selling
- Build solid relationships with customers
- Customer retention and reacquisition of lost customer accounts
- Provide sales support to President, VP of Sales, Key Account Representatives and Distributors
- Follow-up on leads from various marketing sources (phone, website, trade shows, direct mail campaigns, etc.)
- Manage sales cycle with prospects through telesales and e-mail
- Maintaining and updating accuracy of database
- Mining data from existing sales database and customer database to help develop future marketing campaigns.
