Plymouth, MA, April 4, 2017. Flexo Concepts announced that it has been awarded funding for the third time through the Massachusetts State Trade Expansion Program (“STEP”) to support its export activities. An exporter since 1990, the company has a strong overseas presence bolstered by sales offices in Spain and Taiwan.
Flexo Concepts regulary exhibits at trade events in Europe, Asia and other export markets and has received STEP Grant funding in the past to help finance these activities. This year, the company will use the grant to help pay for its exhibition at ICE Europe in Munich, SinoCorrugated in Shanghai and Labelexpo Europe in Brussels.
The Massachusetts State Trade Expansion Program (“STEP”) is a collaboration between the Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment (“MOITI”), the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network (“MSBDC”) and the Massachusetts Export Center. Through a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration (“SBA”), funding up to $10,000 is awarded to eligible small businesses in Massachusetts for the purpose of increasing export sales.
